Number our days

Psalms 90:12 (KJV)

12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

One of me new year resolution will be to consciously commit bible verses to heart. This will be a head start.

How are you?

Exodus 18:7 (KJV)
And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.

彼此 问安

This is interesting. Both Moses and Jethro was asking each other “How are you!” be it a courtesy or sincerity, “how are you” certainly started long time back.

Walk in my law

Exodus 16:4 (KJV)
Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

我 好 试验 他们 遵 不 遵 我的 法度 。

I suppose even today, the LORD is still testing us if we walk in his law. No, it’s not about being legalistic here, but obedience. Grace cannot work apart from the law, rather together.
