Keeping God in focus while studying and mugging

Why it’s good to have a Youth Study Week Fellowship Time.

Keeping God in focus while studying and mugging

There’s opportunity here to be the role model for the younger youths to encourage them on Godly focus and Brethren Fellowship during mugging time.

When we put a program (structure) in place:

  1. Folks comes at same predefined time
  2. Pre-fellowship and encouragement to each other prior study session
  3. Exhortation sets the direction and pace
  4. Prayer to bless and commit the students to God and seek His wisdom (James 1:5)
  5. Focused Study Time!

#1-4 – can be done in less than 10 mins!

By putting a start and end time, it challenges the student to :

  1. *Be very productive during the study session
  2. Allows sufficient rest and reflection on revised materials during journey time

* It’s been shared that ONE hour of concentrated study is worth several hours of distracted study. If we learn how to work with concentration, we will achieve more. This critical skill enables us to do more in less time and is one of the distinguishing features of super achievers around the world.

At the end of the study session

  1. We glorify God as we have put him beginning and the end
  2. You feel good spiritually at the end of it all as everything had been committed to God
  3. Students who came accomplished
    1. Spiritual Refreshment
    2. Mentally improved from the study session
    3. Social Fellowship accomplished
    4. Physically refreshed from refreshments after

We see tremendous benefits on studying together during study week.

Matt 18:20 – For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

2 Tim 2:15 – Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Heb 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
