God is good and his mercies endureth forever. By calling God we are referring to the trinity Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

Somehow, I kind of prefer calling Jesus than God instead, because God seems to be so much more common. However, careful observation from Jesus’ prayer will show that he address his prayer to FATHER instead of GOD.

Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

So a good practice will be to ensure we direct our prayers to the Father if we feel God is too common, afterall our God is an exclusive trinity God!

Other learnings I have today have enhanced 3 memory verses namely
1. Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always
2. Rom 8:28 All work well for those who love Jesus
3. Eph 2:8-9 Saved by Grace not of works.
