Trouble Time

It’s not good that you are in trouble, but it’s good if that trouble drives you to call out to the best possible Savior and Deliverer you could ever have: God.

“I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” (Psalm 18:3,6)

Saw this on k4T (kids for truth) devotion on 6 April 2011. This aligns with my understanding on how we handle issues. Do we turn to God? Or do we rely solely on worldly wisdom? I’m not a particularly prayerful person, but I know whom I should turn to. God, then man with full confidence that God is control irregardless of the outcome.
