Many backdated thoughts not posted. Here goes! lol!

Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Thank God for his answers. It is interesting how answers surfaces in due time. Just as when we are looking for something at home, it can’t be found. Yet sometime later, the items surfaces itself. Interesting. I have been struggling with the following.

1. Great Commission by Jesus Last few verses of Matthew 28:18-19
2. Pastors have been telling us to share the gospel.
3. We know we have the responsibility to tell people about God.

So WHY AREN’T WE PROFUSELY GOING OUT AND YELL and PERSUADE people on the streets and anybody to Christ??!? I think the answer is probably given here. I’m not a bible scholar, but the explanations given are “not rocket sciences”. It is COMMON SENSE. Not putting oneself into unnecessary risks and frustrations. It means discernment.

Matthew 7:6 gives references to dogs and swines. No these aren’t cute little dogs that are adorable, but rather those that turns around and bites.
Swines, we know what are swines. They trample on anything and destroy, and make a mess of everything. Almost in a mockery fashion.

Interesting. Many times, in marriage, the unequally yoke verse always comes to mind, 2 Cor 6:14.
How about from parents perspective, are we tossing our precious son and daughters to “dogs and swines”? As good a character, looks, personality, etc whatever, anything in form or shape that pulls us away from God is not good. Not even if the other half does not mind, but rather we mind.

Oh well.. 🙂
