Why Wages of sin is death?

Are we ready to meet God?

Romans 6:23 – The wages of sin is death…

The joy of God is there is no maybe, no changes, not conditional. Not, if this, do this, else this, while etc….
I was pondering for some time on how to answer a person on why “wages of sin is death”. Of course I can easily say “The Bible says it, I believe it, that settles it”.

God is either Yes or No. Maybe is out. (Matt 5:37; Rev 3:16)
We are with HOT or COLD.
We are either ALIVE or DEAD.
It is either HEAVEN or HELL.
Either we HAVE Jesus, else NOT.
So as far as sin is concern, it’s either LIFE or DEATH.
Does that reconcile “the wages of sin is death?” That’s as far as human representation could lead to I guess.
Nevertheless, we should accept what the bible says. We can debate for better understanding, but not doubt.

We also know of hell, that’s why we frequently hear cusses and swears like
1. WTH = What the Hell.
2. GTH = Go to Hell.

We even have products for people in hell to ease (not remove) their suffering by burning things to them. We all know about heaven and hell.
1. Hell Notes
2. Hell mansions
3. Hell Credit Cards etc.

Is our end in mind set? If yes, how?

What is the definition of death in Biblical context?
1. Physical Death
2. Spiritual Death

Many of us are concerned with Physical Death as that will happen to everybody, and we can see that. What many people are not too concerned about is the Spiritual Death. What is Spiritual Death? Eternal Seperation from God in hell fire. But why would God do that to us when we have done no wrong?!? Are you sure you have done no wrong? There are 2 kinds of sins, sins of commission and ommission.

We can say we have not commit and crimes, how about evil thoughts, lying, theft, etc?
How about things that we have not done such as glorifying God, and all?

We say God is just, YES! God is just and he will bring to remembrance all the offences we have committed as far back as he can remember…. that means EVERYTHING.
It is not about what brings us to heaven, but what keeps us away from heaven!

The biggest lie is “we have lots of time”… “But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee:” Luke 12:20 Are we ready to meet God?
