Struggles

Struggles

I can recall many incidences in the bible (too numerous to count) that Christians DO STRUGGLE with God. This is a good sign perhaps.

Job was one of them. His entire property, family was totally wiped slate clean. Left himself and his wife, and some friends.
Joseph was sold off as a slave, thrown into prison (Gen 37)
Daniel was put through his paces in a heathen King Palace. (Book of Daniel)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (did I get the right spelling?!?) was thrown into the fiery furnace. (Daniel 1)
Peter cried when he felt he was drowning (Matt 14:30)
Peter denied Christ 3 times.
Peter was wanted by Satan (even when he was with Jesus?) Luke 22:31
Jesus himself was struggling with his journey to the cross! (Matt 26:39)

I sincerely thank God for all these years of listening to the bible and the sermons. It is a no wonder that the bible says “he who have ears, let him hear!!”
Matthew 11:15 – He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Matthew 13:9 “He who has ears, let him hear.”
Matthew 13:43 “Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
Mark 4:9 And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Mark 4:23 “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Luke 8:8 “Other seed fell into the good soil, and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great.” As He said these things, He would call out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Luke 14:35 “It is useless either for the soil or for the manure pile; it is thrown out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Revelation 2:7 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.’
Revelation 2:11 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.’
Revelation 3:6 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Revelation 3:13 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Revelation 13:9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. (NASB ©1995)

In all our life, we will be struggling in some way or another, be it in physically or spiritually. I’m reminded to turn to God in prayer.
