Guilty or Innocent?

Have you come to the personal saving grace of Jesus yet? If yes, praise the Lord! If no, what’s holding you back?

As the saying goes, time and tide wait for no man, this is certainly a Godly statement as Time and Tide belongs to God!

Mat 8:26 And he (Jesus) saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with that single step. For us, that first step is toward Faith in Jesus Christ. That faith and grace of Jesus becomes awesomely real as we realize how sinful we are and how in no way we can avoid the condemnation. I was just told to pay TV bill dated back on 2001. If human can chase us for our past, and hold us accountable, how much more in God our creator who demands?

The Ten Commandments given by God, which I’m sure manu from 5 onwards many of us are familiar with, butvhow about the first 4 with God?

Say law 9, do not lie. Have we ever lied? Yes, as small or as good as it sounds, a lie is a lie. What does that makes us? A lier.
Law 8, do not steal. Have ever stolen? Remember even in the most minor way, it’s a theft. Movie? Pirated DVD?

We see, the law of God brings judgement and condemnation to all of us. Nobody can stand before God and claim innocent. We are guilty!

Bible says ” Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.” Break 1 law? Guilty of all!

Ten Commandments
1. There is only ONE God.
2. Do not have any idols
3. Do not use name of God in vain
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy
5. Honour our parents
6. Do not kill
7. Do not lust/adultery
8. Do not steal
9. Do not lie
10. Do not covet

Good news is, only Jesus can pardon us for all these. Jesus said:
Jn 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Jn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Wait not. Come to Jesus. Only through Jesus can we be free from the law. What comes after freedom? Repentance! Only through Jesus, these law will be passed from Judgement into guide of our lives.

We all know how the judge use the law to pass judgement. And after the criminal has been convicted, he will be more conscious of the law, and abide in it. Christians ain’t perfect, just sinners saved by grace of Jesus. Daily literally. The spirit will convict us daily.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 John 1:9 (KJV)
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Note verse 10 below.
1 John 1:10 (KJV)
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him(God) a liar, and his word is not in us.

Have we hardened our heart to the point of calling God a liar? Have we decieved ourselves and living in a world of falsehood thinking we are good and righteous by words and deeds? Romans 3:10 (KJV)
[10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one

Psalms 53:1 (KJV)
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…

Come to Jesus today, harden not your heart.

God bless! Ben.
