Pilgrim Progress

Hi,

I’ve just completed the classic Pilgrim Progress on youtube, if you have about 70 mins to spare, it is a good motion adaptation from the book in the most summarized form of a Christian life into our final destination in the "Celestial City aka Heaven" with Christ.

In a nutshell, it can be described as
Seeking -> Divine Guidance -> Jesus -> Journey -> Trials/Temptations/Dangers/etc -> Faith -> Final Destination

The motion picture ends with the devil looking for another and more victims.

It’s a pretty good and realistic view of a Christian life, lest anybody preaches a smooth sailing Gospel, no dangers, no sacrifice, no faith needed.

Our Christian journey is wrought with dangers, but that is where the grace of God is sufficient for us. I thank God that we have the freedom to worship Christ here in Singapore. In other regions such as Pakistan, Myanmar, India, Iran, Iraq, etc we know being a Christian is going to cost their lives. But why will anybody wants to die for Christ even as the Martyr of Olden days do so?
They know it is coming, and it is worth it.

Philippians 1:21 – For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
2 Corinthians 5:8 – We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
John 15:18 – If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

However:
Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose."
2 Corinthians 12:9 – And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

John Bunyan, we can read about him in this wiki for him.
