Trust God

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Exactly. So does that mean I should doubt all mankind? No. It simply means here rely entirely on God’s wisdom, providence and timing. Many husband and wife usually have tiff when it comes to financial and stuffs related. You know? The things that a typical person who not want to talk about. Either of the spouse will usually retort “I cannot rely on you anymore.” Does anybody realise how strong that word is? I cannot rely on you anymore?

If you cannot rely on a chair what happens? It get’s replaced.
If you cannot rely on a car what happens? It get’s replaced.
If you cannot rely on a TV what happens? It get’s replaced.
If you cannot rely on a staff what happens? It get’s replaced. 😦
If you cannot rely on your spouse? It cannot be replaced right?

So when somebody tells you that same statement “I cannot rely on you you anymore” , do you know what goes through the person’s mind? Yup! I’m going to be replaced!

From a godly perspective, it is probably good in my humble opinion, if you are going to replace the trust to God. But that same statement has done it’s damage to the earthly partner.

Just the other day, my grand aunt after having a pacer in her heart for like close to a decade? A doctor checked and was told that the pacer in fact had not been of any good effect. Why? It was not installed by man properly. So all along, she had living as good as without a heart pacer.

That’s the ugly truth ain’t it? It’s a fact! Man (when I said man, it means mankind) cannot be relied on! For all things comes from above! So does that mean I need to stop trusting my spouse, doctor and everybody and turn on the doubting mode? No. It only means we need to put our ultimate trust to be in the Lord. Trust the earthly assigned person to carry out the will of God.

Simply trusting every day;
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Chorus
Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him, whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Brightly doth His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Singing if my way be clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth is past,
Till His gracious advent call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
