Praising God when things are bad

I’m into day 3 of the 61 day reading plan found here.
http://mobile.biblegateway.com/resources/readingplans/chronological.php

“Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” (Job 1:20-22).

Indeed! Blessed be the name of our Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. He lives forever more. In time of sorrow, in times of sadness, we need to maintain our composure.

I can only guess Job was not a rash person, but a very composed person else he would NOT BEEN able to SHAVE his head!!

May we be constantly be reminded to form a habit of praise. I recalled my late grandparents, father side, lips are constantly full of praise and thanksgiving even on their last days. Reminding us to be close to God. Praising and Thanking God for his goodness. In fact, their words are constantly punctuated with Thank God in Hokkien.
