Regrets

Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable. – Sydney J. Harris

The same thing was heard from a Youtube clip of a Graduational Speech, forget which Uni. I googled and found the phrase I wanted here.

“It is not the things we do in life that we regret on our deathbed, but it is the things we do NOT do that we regret.” – Randy Pausch

Asked around, indeed, folks regret more on what they have not done, then what they have done.

However, I like Amy’s response. One cannot change the past of what one has done. However, one can do better in the future.
