I have seen a Chiropractor since Sept till now, no improvement.
Finally sometime in December, he stopped temporary and advised me to get another opinion.
Saw a Chinese “Tui Na”, gosh, it was hellish. 2 sessions I stopped.
Each time I walked out of the “Tui Na”
It felt like I had been hammered on my lower back. I walked like a duck out.
Saw a Raffles GP, diagnosed as IT Band Injury. Cannot be right, that is a one off injury.
I know my right leg is tight, cramps often, but no. Finally got an xray taken.
It came back with a Horde of Diagnosis.

Finally got referred to a specialists, and got a written memo to my military officer. My L5 is loose and has a constant wear and tear. In fact the entire spine is worn. Recommended surgery, lock L5 to sacrum to stop further wear and tear. Else it will only get worse over time.
The chinese doc said the opposite. My nerves are injured. The blood flow is not good. Clogged.
The common between both doc was if I had seek medical help immediately, it will be much better, more hope for better recovery. But I did not, and carry on exercising and made it worst.
Either way, what’s done is done. Perhaps even if I had seen earlier, it will also result in a similar situation, perhaps slightly better only.
The only common thing that both “East” and “West” doc said were:
- No Running
- No Jumping
- No Loading
- No Cure
- Can only prevent it from getting worse
- Can only take medicine/acupuncture to ease the constant pain/ache
Oh Welll…
