This is a nice playground, away from the traffic, surrounded by low rise executive HDB blocks.

It has a playground and the exercise corner is just adjacent to it.

I like this picture of Isaac and Samuel seated, playing together with leaves and twigs.

In fact, it was himeself who saw the cable car sign and requested to be brought there.

CNY Day 03, and I am on leave. Lovely weather that just begs you to bring the kids out for some outdoor activities. Samuel rode while we puched Isaac on bicycles to the not to distant playground to have some outdoor fun.

Isaac especially love it, with a huge area for him to walk around. Obstacles to climb.
Samuel enjoys the slides, and going round the playground with his bicycle.

A Round of Family Photo Session

We had a round of family photoshoot before we went out for visitations.

First time using the D80 on a tripod and timer. One thing I realized, the photographer tends to squeeze into the picture as much as possible, need to me more natural in future. Plenty of room. lol!

The only way to get the boy looking at your way, is to be at the way he is looking.

Party of 4. Red shirts thanks to my father who got them both the same from Houston.
Rushed to washed it the night before so the boys may wear them the very nect day.
Why the rush? Coz my dad just reached home the day before.

In-laws stays with us. A big happy funny family.

Isaac & the Puppy Story

Some months back, even before Isaac turned a year old, we noticed he has reaction to 4 legged creatures. Especially dogs. Today we decided to capture down the moment.

What is that?

Hmm.. a puppy.

Waaaaaaah!!! It’s a puppy.

Stay there puppy, don’t come near me.

Experimental Flash Photography – Noob me.

Was experimenting with the SB600 in auto mode. Noticed something interesting.

Subject far, bright.
Subject near, dim.

Why? Time to google.

The next 2 shots again, brightness difference.
Closer look at the photo, it appears that the 1st picture I was nearer judging from the background.

The last shot is very dark, speedlight fired when Isaac suddenly charge towards me at close distance.

Isaac and Nikon D80

Isaac was our 1st subject when we acquired the Nikon D80 from our cousin.
The results turned out very well. So well that we fell in love with the DLR cam immediately.
