It’s almost like there is a layer of skin over the sides of the e61i. The sides started to peel like several months back. Now is startingt to get worse. Revealing a smoother layer below. Makes me wonder if I should just sand of the surface. Give it matte looking sides.

Yes, I still do use my e61i actively, and my e71 as well.

The lighter colored surface is what is peeling off, revealing the darker body beneath.
